Be warned. The letters T.H.E. stand for Truly Horrible Entertainment.
KAMP School's classes and courses were designed around production companies and network television's need and use for child actors. We do not guarantee your child will get top billing in the next network prime-time original, but what we can say is your child will have fun, probably make a mess, do many videos, stories, stage plays and to have fun.
Most of our courses are between eight (8) and twelve (12) weeks.
All students begin in General and then sorted into their experience level.

A course of Twelve 90 minute classes introducing fast paced 'think on your feet' Improv Games, short scripted comedy sketches - Shakespeare it ain't! Basic radio work - like as a Pop DJ, videotaping sketches. Will you get slimed and messy? What do you think? 12 Classes - $396 + First time registration $30 Second Family Member $360 - No registration fee if same household. Bring a friend: If you bring a friend you each pay $380 plus Registration if it is your first time. (Must enrol at the same time) Second and subsequent friends you each pay $370 plus Registration if it is first time.

The main difference between this and the Get Officially Slimed Class is that in this fun session we reveal to you the top secret recipe for You Can't Do That On Television Slime and how to make it. Of course you have to sign the Official Slime Secrets Act. Then you make a bucket of Slime and we film your children, and you too if you want being Slimed and having a good laugh. This class is not really so much about acting as about having fun, together.

Improv (Making it up as you go along) is the very foundation of our style of acting.
Students learn to think on their feet and work cooperatively with the other actors in the scene. It is a huge help when they move on to working with scripts. They know to react and interact with the other actors, not just wait their turn to recite their line.
Learning to act naturally is essential for acting in front of a camera. Being confident and open in speaking helps you not only for auditions but also verbal exams, job interviews, public speaking and just getting on in life.
